Tyler Jewell
Tyler grew up in the California Mountains, riding his mountain bike and racing his BMX bike. He stopped racing BMX when he moved to Texas and lost contact with the BMX scene. He was also involved in many other sports such as Baseball, Soccer, Golf, Basketball, Football, Tennis and Track. Not long after getting settled in Texas Tyler’s father entered him in his first mountain bike race on his twelfth birthday in Lajitas, Texas. Ever since then he has raced almost every race of the fall and spring of the TMBRA series, and many NORBA nationals.
Tyler entered his first road race at Chappell hill for the age-based state road race when he was fourteen. Road racing wasn’t an instant love for him because mountain biking and road racing didn’t have a strong alliance in his mind. However he kept at it and learned to love it. He is currently very fond of road racing and cant wait to see what the future has to hold for him. Tyler is putting mountain biking on the back burner for a while, while focusing to become a better and smarter road racer. Tyler is now training, working, and playing golf as much as his schedule allows. He would recommend Source Endurance to absolutely anybody, and is very appreciative and honored to be a part of the Source Endurance family. There are so many great benefits that Source Endurance has to offer and the coaching staff is unbelievable.
