Peggy-Pletcher

Bio

Peggy Pletcher is a registered dietitian with a Masters degree in exercise physiology and certification as a diabetes educator. She has over 15 years of experience developing nutrition and exercise programs for a variety of people from athletes to recreational exercisers.  She is experienced in working with people of all fitness levels, and has developed individual exercise, nutrition and multi-disciplinary weight loss programs for a variety of clients. She has authored and conducted individual, corporate, community, and performance oriented nutrition education materials and presentations, specializing in sports performance education.

 

She has been a speaker for the Chicago Marathon pre-race performance oriented nutrition clinics, has conducted Healthy Lifestyles and other courses, and authored articles on sports and general nutrition for both Internet sites and magazines.  She believes in wellness, a balanced lifestyle, and a holistic approach when working with people to attain their fitness goals.  When she is not busy taking care of her daughters, Peggy likes to run, bike, and join in her favorite exercise classes.
