Bio

David is an accomplished road and track cyclist with 12 years of racing experience. He has raced with top level amateur teams, US National teams, and three DIII teams from 2000- 2004. His last national medal came in 2002 with a 4th place in the 2002 U23 time trial championships. After college David raced as a professional for two seasons with fond memories then turned to a career in social work.

 

David strives for athletes to excel while maintaining a healthy balance between social, family, work, and fitness. His goal is to lead athletes of all levels in the pursuit and achievement of their athletic goals through an interdisciplinary approach. Many of his athletes lead important lives aside from what they do on two wheels, his understanding of what it takes to be successful on and off the bike are unparalleled.

 

Dave’s past and current clients have excelled in their competitive efforts with 5 riders since 2005 five riders have advanced from the cat4 ranks to the cat3 level, three have moved from cat3 to cat2. Several have medaled or won state championships, two competed in their first Elite National track championships, and all athletes will be returning for 2007.

 

In 2007 he will be trying his hand on the national level once again with the HealthCoach men’s duo and focusing on racing top level criteriums and timed track events.
