Amenities: In addition to being aerodynamically fit and tested in the wind tunnel by aerodynamic experts, all participants will receive photos and wind tunnel data specific to their positioning. Athletes will also receive continuous input from one of the Source Endurance Consultants with a 1:1 coach:athlete ratio for the duration of the camp.
Tentative Agenda:
Day 1
- All athletes should plan on arriving in College Station on Monday evening. Hotel check-in will be left up to each athlete; however, we will have a block of 15 rooms reserved at a local hotel if the athlete is interested.
- 7:00 – 9:00pm: Athlete meet and greet at a local College Station restaurant. Here we’ll introduce the Source Endurance staff, the aerodynamic experts, and each of the athletes. We’ll go through a quick run through of the agenda and let the aerodynamic experts speak on the procedures of having athletes in the wind tunnel.
Day 2
- The focus of Day 2 is time spent in the wind tunnel for each of the 4 athletes at the camp. Each athlete will be tested in the wind tunnel in their current time trial position as a baseline. After that, each athlete will be fit to their bike by the Source Endurance Staff. The time spent in the wind tunnel will be used for optimizing time trial positions and maximizing efficiency and speed. Each athlete will have between 1.5 and 2 hours in the wind tunnel.
