Tmbra round 4

A little late, but time seems to be disappearing as of lately. With only 4 more weeks left of school I have a project due every week for the next 3 along with a couple of sweet end of the semester exams that should be followed promptly by some final exams. Oh well, I will do what I can.

Warda was a good result for my morale. My first ever PSE podium, which may be over shadowed by some key competition missing, but I FELT good as well and that is what counts most. For the sake of not writing the warda race story anymore (already 2 times) you can check it out on my blog. Comamitc.blogspot.com.

I Think it is so funny how when you are doing certain things in training you can see it transfer over to racing. While this is obvious to most of us fitness gurus, I speak more in the sense of Perceived effort. Since I have been doing a butt load of base type efficiency stuff, I find that in races when I get going super VO2, I just want to shut it down and ride at the pace I have been for the last 2 months. I am looking forward to my new block of high intensity so that when the going gets tough, I get going!

This weekend is a new addition to the spring calendar at Reimer’s Ranch. It should be a good course for me as it is alot of pedaling and fairly straight forward. Looking forward to it!

Talk to you after this weekend, Mitch
