Nothing to do with Triathlon

You know your cars old when: 1. You think something blew up behind you but then you realize its just your exhaust (only happens occasionally for the first few minutes of driving). 2. You hit something and don’t even get out to check the damages (the grill guard helps). 3. It makes a Horrendous noise every time the driver door is open (some of y’all know what I am talking about). 4. The electrical system is all jacked so the digital clock stays on 24/7. 5. Occasionally the inside lights don’t work making it hard to know when to switch gears at 5:45 in the morning when its dark and your driving to swimming (but the digital clock stays on). 6. You go to leave swimming and find that if you don’t keep your foot on the gas then it’ll just die (this one made me a little nervous I wouldn’t make it back for class). 7. No one knows how to lock the doors because it’s the old school process of holding up the outside handle when you close it. 8. You are thinking about spray painting the hood to match the rest of the car because all of the paint has worn off from the sun. 9. It doesn’t always go into first gear so well. 10. You are in the middle of driving and your keys fall out of the ignition and the car is STILL RUNNING!! - F.Y.I.- I am not at all bitter. I LOVE my 1985 Toyota 4-Runner. How could I not, we were born the same year. Also, its pretty much the coolest car I’ve ever seen so don’t take this the wrong way! Train Hard. Jen Perez
