Tyler Jewell Wins Tour of New Braunfels Day 1
SE elite athlete Tyler Jewell takes down the first of what should be many wins this season. The 75min race was aggressive from the gun and several moves looked promising, but Jewell’s team, Texas Tough/ Hotel San Jose, seemed to do a great job of getting in moves to force others to chase until they took over and let TJ do his thing from far from the finish. He owned the sprint, putting several bike lengths on the next competitor. Those next riders were SE athletes Kevin Kremke of Bike Barn Texas and Phil Wikoff riding for Bicycle Sport Shop p/b Girling.
