Weekend CX and MTB Results
Here's a few results from this past weekend:
Georgia Gould: 2nd Place on Saturday and Sunday at the USGP Cyclocross Races (after starting on the 3rd row). Next up is a national caliber field at the Boulder UCI races.
Nina Baum: Won her first cyclocross race in New Mexico. She'll be taking the plunge this coming weekend and throwing down with some heavy hitters at the UCI races in Boulder, CO.
Ross Schnell: Back at it! First race since coming off a season-ending knee injury this summer. He raced the 50/50 in Grand Junction, CO (50 mile MTB and 50 mile road). Ross did the MTB leg and won by 1 hr and 20 mins. His teammate for the road leg was still at home when he arrived at the finish, well ahead of schedule. It was ok though - Ross made a phone call and told him it was his turn to race, and they still won by a sizeable margin.
Ross will be in Boulder as well for his first ever cyclocross race this coming weekend. His jumping and handling skills should prove very useful for cyclocross.
So, there'll be a lot of Source Endurance in Boulder, CO this weekend - I'll do my best to get a lot of pictures!
